ANTI-POVERTY CAMPAIGNER CHALLENGES AFRICAN LEADERS

Anti-poverty campaigner, Henry Malumo has observed that African countries are not developing due to lack of accountability by leaders.
Mr Malumo, who is also spokesperson of Action Aid Africa, says there is need for political leaders in Africa to commit themselves to the accountability.
He has observed that African leaders commit themselves to many international protocols but they do not account themselves to implementation.
He cited the Comprehensive African Agricultural Development Program as one protocol, which most countries have signed but have not implemented.
