RULING PATRIOTIC FRONT RULES OUT COALITION GOVERNMENT

Republican Vice President, Guy Scott has ruled out the ruling Patriotic Front forming a coalition government.
Dr Scott says the PF is determined to ensure that it rules within the mandate given to it by the electorate on 20th September.
He has further explained that opposition parties are trying to frustrate the PF’s motives in parliament however the ruling party will forge ahead.
Dr Scott was speaking in the aftermath of the election of the 7th Speaker for National Assembly.
In the current setting, no party has a two-thirds majority in parliament and the PF has since nominated 6 MMD Members of Parliament into cabinet.
