GOVERNMENT IRKED BY EXORBITANT INTERNET COSTS

Government says it is concerned with the high costs associated with internet access.
Education Permanent Secretary, Andrew Phiri however says the introduction of national research and education networks can help reduce the costs.
Dr Phiri was speaking during the launch of the Zambia Research and Education Network in Lusaka.
Meanwhile, the launch of the project has elated UNZA Vice Chancellor, Stephen Simukanga, who is also chairperson of the network.
