NEW PRESIDENT FIRES AIDES AT STATE HOUSE

Three presidential aides appointed under the former and immediate regime have been fired with immediate effect.
With just a week in office, new Presiodent, Michael sata has dropped Special Assistant to the President for Economic and Development Affairs, Richard Chembe  and his colleague for Legal Affairs, Joseph Jalasi.
The third aide fired is Special Assistant to the President for Political Affairs, Francis Chigunta.
The three aides, whose contracts have been terminated, were appointed by immediate past president, Rupiah Banda.
This is however in an expected decision after the Mr Sata won the republican presidency in Zambia’s 6th  multi-party democracy presidential elections, pushing the then appointing authority, Mresident Rupiah Banda ans hi party, the MMD into the opposition.
