Police
have instituted investigations into the procurement of over 1,000 bicycles by
former Finance Minister, Situmbeko Musokotwane.
This
follows today’s operation by the police at Dr Musokotwane’s residence in Lusaka
west, in which they seized several bicycles.
Police
spokesperson, Ndandula Siamana says the investigations into the matter are
meant to establish how the bicycles were procured.
And Ms Siamana has
also disclosed that investigations over the seizure of 42 vehicles from the
former ruling MMD, are still underway.
