The Zambia
Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry has supported the
re-affirmation of Zambia’s B-plus rating as announced by Standards and
Poors.
ZACCI President,
Geoffrey Sakulanda says the business community is happy with the development.
Mr Sakulanda has
explained that the gesture shows that Zambia has a stable and positive
investment environment.
And Mr Sakulanda
has called on citizens to embrace the recent adjustment of the retirement age
from 55 to 65.
He has explained
that the move is a challenge for all not to only think of formal employment
alone but also deploy their energies and ideas into entrepreneurship.
