SATA UNSETTLED WITH VICE PRESIDENT’S TOO MUCH POWER

Patriotic Front –PF- leader, Michael Sata says the office of the republican Vice President carries too much power.
Mr Sata claims that the respective has too much power, enough to make the incumbent to manipulate the running of the economy.
The outspoken opposition leader was speaking at the news makers forum organized by the Press Freedom Committee of the Post Newspapers.
Mr Sata could not however state exactly what his party plans to do in order to restrict the respective powers once elected into office.
Meanwhile, Kabwata parliamentary aspirant, Given Lubinda has reaffirmed his allegations of corruption shrouding Universal Print Group of South Africa.
The respective company has been contracted by the Electoral Commission of Zambia to print ballot papers for the 20th September general elections.
This time, Mr Lubinda claims the company is implicated in corrupt activities, which the Anti-Corruption Commission –ACC- is currently investigating.
He has explained that he has information of the corruption and money laundering activities done by UPG’s front-man in Zambia, a Vik Vaid.
Mr Lubinda says the money laundering activities were being done through account number 0140034477502 at a named multi-national bank.
