UPG BLAMES ELECTORA COMMISSION OF ZAMBIA FOR BALLOTS PRINTING DELAYS

Universal Print Group –UPG- says the Electoral Commission of Zambia –ECZ- is delaying the printing of ballot papers for the 20th September general elections.
The South African based company says the ECZ’s delay in sending data for parliamentary and local government elections ballots is affecting their work.
UPG Projects Manager, Vik Vaid says the ECZ has so far sent only data for Central Province, which Zambian delegates will start proof reading today.
Meanwhile, Mr Vaid has disclosed that by last evening, about 800,000 ballots had been printed from the 5.5 million required.
