BALLOTS FOR BLIND PEOPLE COMING

Ballot papers with a special provision for the blind have been printed ahead of the 20TH September general elections.
The blind voter ballots, which will be used for the first time in Zambia, are aimed at allowing persons with visual disabilities to privately cast a vote.
On the polling day, Presiding Officers are expected to read out instructions to the blind on how to use the same ballots.
Universal Print Group Projects Manager, Vik Vaid however says the particular ballots will only be provided for the presidential elections.
Meanwhile, Printing and Packaging of Local Government Ballot Papers has continued.
