Republican President, Michael Sata has promised to govern the country on biblical principles
and standards.
Mr Sata has further promised to enhance the anti-corruption crusade
adding that his government will be based on teachings as enshrined in the
biblical 10 commandments.
He was speaking today in Lusaka when he
addressed congregants at Saint Ignatius Catholic Parish.
Earlier, Parish Priest, father Chilinda urged
Mr Sata to embrace all Zambians and desist from seeking retribution.
The recent 20th
September general elections have left no political party with two-thirds
majority in parliament.
According to official results
of the elections, the ruling Patriotic Front managed to win 60 seats while the
opposition MMD have 55 seats and the UPND have 28 seats.
This situation has left the
country with a hang parliament.
