RB TIPPED TO WIN PRESIDENTIAL POLLS

The Centre for Policy Dialogue has predicted victory for President Rupiah Banda after the 20th September general elections.
In the latest opinion poll, the centre’s Director, Neo Simutanyi says Mr Banda will win the Presidential elections by 40 per cent.
De Simutanyi has further stated that the Patriotic Front’s Michael Sata will garner 38 per cent while the UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema will be third.
He has claimed that after the predictions follow an opinion poll carried out in various parts of the country with a sample of 1,500 registered voters.
Dr Simutanyi has based the opinion poll results on the MMD’s acclaimed consolidated strongholds in Eastern, Central, North Western and Western Provinces.
In the first opinion poll this year, Dr Simutanyi had said that the PF would win by 31 percent while the MMD would be second with 28 percent of votes cast.
