GERMAN TELLS ZAMBIA TI IMPROVE JUDICIARY EFFICIENCY

Head of Cooperation at the Germany embassy, George Rademacher says Zambia must improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the judiciary.
He has reiterated that the rule of law is the cornerstone of democratic governance and a prime condition of a prospering market economy.
Mr Rademacher was speaking on Thursday in Kabwe when the European Union –EU- handed over 12 vehicles worth 4.2 billion kwacha to the Zambia Prison Service.
And the EU Head of delegation in Zambia, Gilles Hervio said access to justice should be for all Zambians especially the vulnerable.
