MIYANDA SPEAKS AGAINST DISUNITY

Heritage Party President, Godfrey Miyanda has urged Zambians to reject messages of disunity, which have a potential of causing violence.
He says Zambians must ensure that they maintain peace and make a change, which will take away violence, selectiveness and injustice.
General Miyanda has also called on those in authority not to intimidate traditional leaders.
He has further observed that Soli Senior Chieftainess Nkomesha Mukamabo the second, as on traditional leader has stood by her principles despite the hard times.
The Chieftainess has come under MMD condemnation over her comments on refusal of political patronage.
And Zambia Union of Nurses Organisation President, Thom Yung'ana has also condemned the violence.
Mr Yung’ana says the political violence is unnecessarily as it adds up to the casualties burden on health institutions.
He has explained that the health system is already stressed therefore the violence is casting added pressure.
