ZAMBIAN GOVERNMENT URGED TO RECOGNISE LIBYAN TRANSITIONAL NATIONAL COUNCIL

Former Diplomat, Love Mtesa has urged government to consider recognising the Libyan Transitional National Council, now that it is no longer a rebel movement.
Mr Mtesa, who served as envoy to Geneva, says the TNC is now a government, which should be recognised as a legitimate body governing the affairs of the Libyan people.
Meanwhile, Mr Mtesa has observed that the Libyan crisis has exposed the inadequacies of the African Union.
Mr Mtesa has explained that the AU has acted an inept manner over the Libyan crisis while the international community was active.
